Welcome to Game on Food Recipes Blog
Welcome to Game on Food recipes blog.
I’m Shelly, Over the years I have hosted dinner parties, BBQ’s and the odd occasional event! Even with all the planning and cooking the recipes, I discovered I had a knack for it! For me the best feeling in the world is seeing my friends enjoy the food they have eaten. Of course, not forgetting the second helpings and empty plates! I love spending time with my family and friends and of course my beautiful dog Storm!
Wondering why? Well. after doing a live cooking class for the Thai green curry recipe via Skype with a good friend in the USA! The feedback from his family and friends was overwhelming, he had posted about it on social media. Later that day I received requests for the recipe! To my surprise, about a week later he sent me a video message! And I quote “Can you guess what I’m making? Again!”, that made my day!
I wanted to share my passion for creating great tasting recipes with more people and what better way to do it then create my own space on the web, at least I can’t lose my recipes in future! another bonus is that everyone who gets involved could benefit from making new friends through here!
I’m guessing you want to know what we are all about? The website has an ever growing collection of recipes for you to browse and try, we would be really grateful for your questions, comments, feedback, and suggestions on our recipes.
You might decide that you want to get more involved, well you can our site offers the ability to submit your own recipes! we’re not just the usual blog!
Anyone who loves food can get involved, whether they want to learn new skills or share there knowledge! Wouldn’t it be great if we could encourage kids to get involved too, who knows we may inspire a new generation of masterchefs!
Even those who have a busy lifestyle will be able to find great tasting recipes that are quick and easy to make. I have been in that situation, in the end I had to be strict with myself and learnt that when I did have time either I would make that evening’s meal in a larger quantity and freeze it for a later date or try to do two different meals which has similar ingredients. In time this became the norm and I found I had more free time without stressing over the age old question “What should I make for dinner tonight?” Now my question is “What shall I get out the freezer for dinner tonight?”
Please make yourselves at home, just a reminder you can search for recipes you fancy trying, get involved by submitting your own recipes and leave comments and feedback on recipes or the blog posts. Most of all I want everyone to enjoy there time on here and feel free to ask any questions you may have, you can comment or use the contact us page to send a private email.
I would love to see Game on Food go viral! This is where you can all help by recommending us to your friends and family and encouraging them to get involved and by leaving your comments and suggestions.
One last thing thank you for your support!
