Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
500g chicken Breast diced
300ml water
2 onion sliced finely sliced
1 onion sliced pureed
2 tsp ginger minced
2tsp garlic minced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp turmeric powder
4 tsp curry powder medium
2 tsp chilli powder
3 tsp garam masala
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp fennel seeds
1/4 tsp black onion seeds
2 bell pepper chopped
3 tomatoes chopped
1 tsp tomato puree
to season salt
to season pepper
fresh corriander leaves only rough chopped
2 green chilli sliced lengthway

Method

Pinch each of the following cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds & kalonji seeds (kalonji seeds are black onion seeds) mix in advance

Puree your onion

Mix chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, onion puree in the water

Make a paste with the ginger puree, garlic puree, curry powder, turmeric, chilli powder add a little water

Heat oil add the mixture of seeds until they start to crackle add the chopped onions & lower the heat fry until golden

Add the paste & fry for a couple minutes

Add your chicken & peppers mix well

Add the chopped tomato liquid & garam masala

Turn up the heat bring to boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for 15-20 mins

Add the fresh coriander and serve with the green chilli
